Worship and Bible Study Schedule
Our strength lies in the Lord God who meets us in
worship. Our worship is focused on Christ and His Word.
Come and hear!
Triduum: The Three-Day Vigil
On Maundy Thursday we begin what is known in the historic Christian Church as the “three-day” sacred service. The Services of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday are conceived of as a single service of congregational worship, separated by times of “recess.” Therefore, the Benediction and Recessional which normally end our services are postponed until the end of the Easter Vigil on Saturday night. These days of intense contemplation focus on the “new testament” in the blood of Christ which God has established for us on Calvary’s cross.
At the close of the Maundy Thursday Service, the depth of Christ’s servanthood is demonstrated as the altar is reverently stripped in preparation for the Church’s observance of Jesus’ death. In this service the Church and her catechumens begin the journey through the three days of Christ’s Passover from death to life and from captivity to freedom.

Concerning the Lord's Supper or Holy Communion:
- If you desire to receive Holy Communion, but have
not communed at St. Paul's before, we ask that you
speak with the Pastor before the Divine Service begins.
- Member congregations and pastors of the Lutheran
Church Missouri Synod believe that to receive the
Holy Sacrament together, we must agree in the doctrines
of the Christian faith. Not every Christian church
body considers such doctrinal unity to be necessary,
but we ask your kindness in respecting our Communion
practice.
- Please know that our Communion practice does not
mean that we are judging any individual Christian's
faith or salvation. We rejoice at the faith of all
who belong to our Lord's church and are glad that
you are visiting with us. If you have questions, our
Pastor will be pleased to discuss this in detail with
you.
